Group occupational therapy

Children’s occupational therapy groups start from about 4 years old and go up to about 10 years old. They are groups made up of 2-4 children of the same age and aim to improve difficulties that mainly concern children’s participation in a group in their daily lives (school, outdoor activities, children’s events, etc.). In a safe and stable environment, with certified therapeutic equipment and material and under the supervision of at least two occupational therapists, the children are encouraged to develop their personality, to test their behaviours and emotions and to work through their difficulties in the social group. Through structured activities and organized play, the children exercise skills relating to cooperation, assertiveness, competitiveness, expression and management of emotions.
